Making Connections: A Program for Parents and Adult Family Members

( View ASL )

Transition is a life-long process involving change at important milestones throughout your child’s life! Please join us for this opportunity to come together and learn from each other. We will explore life’s milestones along with skills and supports that empower children and families as they navigate these transitions, including their sensory diversity.

Discussion topics will offer participants time to work together and share resources, knowledge, and strategies to support active engagement in life and community for you and your child who is Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Blind/Partially Sighted.

Intended Audience: adult family members of students who are supported by APSEA

Program Facilitators: Sabrina de Jong, Janice Gavin, and Brian Yee from APSEA Counselling Services
