Canada Student Grant for Services & Equipment for Students with Permanent Disabilities

Students with permanent disabilities registered for post-secondary education for 2022-23 may qualify for up to $20,000 in government grants to cover the costs of their services and equipment including, but not limited to: tutors, specialized transportation, note takers, interpreters, attendant care for studies, readers, alternate format, reimbursements for learning disability assessments, and assistive technology.

Guidance counsellors, resource teachers, parents, and adult family members will benefit from attending this introductory session on the details of the Canada Student Grant for Services & Equipment for Students with Permanent Disabilities (CSG-PDSE) program.

Participants will have an opportunity to learn:

  • key information about the CSG-PDSE offered by the Canadian federal government to support students with permanent disabilities with post-secondary services and equipment.
  • about eligibility criteria and estimate student/family eligibility for the CSG-PDSE.
  • steps to apply for the CSG-PDSE, and a suggested timeline for application.
