Creating Spaces for Growth

( View ASL )

Created by our team of preschool consultants at APSEA, this Partners in Learning program consists of four individual sessions hosted by Sally Cameron and Carrie Vroege. Designed to empower and connect families while supporting early child development and learning, parents and caregivers with preschool aged children are invited to join us in a relaxed online setting where you will have the opportunity to discuss and explore possibilities for optimizing home environments to target learning. We will be thinking about ways to create spaces that can support learning and growth, focusing on fine and gross motor skills, active learning, orientation and mobility, and literacy. This is a chance to meet other parents, share ideas, and learn strategies for making home learning and early childhood development fun and accessible in creative ways whilst using the space and things you already have. While sessions are set up to complement each other, it is not necessary to sign up for all of them.

Target Audience: Parents, caregivers, adult family members, APSEA employees

Facilitators: Sally Cameron, Carrie Vroege
