Introduction to APSEA BVI Mentor Services

APSEA’s BVI Mentor is quickly becoming an integral source of support for students, families, school teams, and APSEA staff. With lived experience and first-hand perspective, the Mentor supports students, families, and educators in building social and navigational capitol by sharing experiences, supporting strategies to build educational, social, and recreational involvement, acting as a positive role model, whilst encouraging self-determination and self-advocacy. In addition to meeting with students, the Mentor can offer consultation from a lived experience perspective to parents and educational staff. Jennifer Fancy, APSEA’s BVI Mentor, welcomes you to join her to learn more about how mentor services can support you and your child or student.
