APSEA’s Deaf Mentors with lived experience and first-hand perspectives are quickly becoming an integral source of support for students, families, school teams and APSEA staff. The Deaf Mentors acting as positive role models provide support to students, families, and educators in navigating their journey in the hearing world. It would consist of support to further develop the use of different strategies for communication and accessibility purposes. They can offer a range of support, including adult family members learning ASL to school staff learning playground communication strategies. This is just a small taste of what they do! Participants will have the opportunity to:

- Learn more about what kind of support services are available through Mentor Services and how to access them
- Connect with, ask questions, and share ideas with experienced Deaf Mentors
