Community Partner Information Session
Join CNIB Volunteer and SCORE participant, Caelin Lloyd, along with Jennifer Fancy, APSEA student Mentor for this online Community Partner Information Session on CNIB Learning Academy’s SCORE (Skills, Confidence and Opportunities through Recreation and Education) Scholars Program.

SCORE Scholars is an all-expenses paid opportunity for students completing grades 10, 11, 12, or attending first year post-secondary, to be part of a transformational experience. This program will support students in their academic and job-seeking goals as they discover their potential through educational and empowering activities. Students will want to seize this opportunity to connect with like-minded peers from across Canada!

Youth accompanied by an adult family member, school teams, community partners and APSEA specialists will learn more about this excellent program from an engaging and experienced volunteer. You’ll discover the benefits of the program for youth, including details of the engaging activities throughout the program, logistics of the application process and have time for questions about the program. This year’s SCORE Scholars Program will run from July 17 to 30, 2022 with a virtual orientation during the week of July 11. It will take place at Seneca College in Toronto and CNIB Lake Joe in Mactier, Ontario.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet an experienced participant and volunteer with CNIB.
  • Learn about the SCORE Scholars Program and how students can apply.
  • Ask questions from an experienced volunteer who participated in SCORE Scholars.
