Tech for Travel: Google Maps with VoiceOver

( View ASL )

VoiceOver can be a helpful feature to access Google Maps for blind as well as low vision students, especially when dealing with glare outside. In this 6-week program, students will review (or learn) VoiceOver gestures that work best with Google Maps. Students will solve problems and plan routes using VoiceOver. This program is open to students who are blind or who have low vision who use (or are interested in using) VoiceOver on the iPad/iPhone. Open to students grades 6 and up.
