Did you know that your iPad can help you investigate clues, interpret maps, and solve mysteries? In this theme-based program, students will be involved in hands-on capers that will encourage students to use various accessibility features, apps and iPad tools that can also be used for classroom access. This workshop is open to students in grades 3-6.
- Participation in this program provides students with the opportunity to learn and practice the function of the following iOS Accessibility features: Magnifier, Zoom, VoiceOver, Speak Selection, Speak Screen, and Text-to-speech.
- Students will use Text-to-speech and Speech-to-text features to read and compose documents to share with the group.
- Students will use scanning/OCR apps to access printed materials.
