Interested in making projects? Would you like to learn more skills for work readiness? Then this is the program for you! Students will design and create two projects. The program will celebrate the completion of these projects through both written and oral communication.
Learning through each other, students will have an opportunity to develop the required skills for teamwork and collaboration, which are so important to the world of work. Working in groups, students will develop communication and problem-solving skills to design and complete various team-based projects.
Students will explore the following learning objectives:
- Identify and advocate for their own accessibility needs during sessions
- Discussion and exploration of career interest inventories
- Identify 3-5 career interests
- Research and plan collaboratively with peers to present group projects
Students who are Deaf or hard of hearing or Blind or visually impaired in grades 9-12 are welcome to participate in this weekly, 50-minute program.
