Every day we follow directions in class, when making plans with friends, when playing games, and at home. Understanding directions is important for knowing what is going on and meeting expectations.
In this six-week workshop, students will have the opportunity to:
- Practice giving and following increasingly complex directions
- Practice recalling critical elements in a message
- Use prepositions, and concepts of time and sequence, quantity, and quality.
- Play barrier games virtually with their classmates to reinforce skills
We welcome students in lower (junior) or upper (senior) elementary to join us for an exploration of the language of directions.
