Holly swimming in a pool

- Holly Doucette (grade 12 BVI student)

My life story is all about my swimming. I went to the Canada Games in Manitoba during the summer of 2017. There were a lot of people from Nova Scotia going to the games. There were 26 swimmers on the Nova Scotia team. The Nova Scotia swim team manager was very particular about the team doing what they were asked to do.

After the games were over, we stayed for the closing ceremony. We flew back to Halifax and arrived at 4:30am, the next morning.  When we got home, we dropped our suitcases in the kitchen and we went to bed.

I enjoyed going to the Canada Games, I am so happy I was able to go.
