Would you like to learn more about Canada’s Disability Tax Credit and Registered Disability Savings Plan?
Representatives from ILNS will provide an information session, so individuals can learn about the RDSP, the benefits of having this type of long-term savings plan, the requirements needed to opening an RDSP and the steps to making this happen. Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about these resources. A Question and Answer period will follow.
The Disability Tax Credit (DTC) is a non-refundable tax credit that helps persons with disabilities or their supporting persons reduce the amount of income tax they may have to pay. An individual may claim the disability amount once they are eligible for the DTC. This amount includes a supplement for persons under 18 years of age at the end of the year.
