Guidelines

The APSEA Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Trust Fund Committee, on a yearly basis, determines the selection of these awards.

The application deadline for all awards is April 1st annually.

Application Requirements for DHH Awards:

The following documents must be included with the application:

  1. A letter (1 page or less) or video (3 minutes or less) from the nominee describing why they should receive this award.
  2. A letter of recommendation (school team member, member of the community, or APSEA staff) which should, where applicable include:
    • Reasons the student should receive the award.
    • The student’s achievements as reflected in the award criteria.
    • The setting in which these accomplishments occurred.
