Do you want to join a book club? If the answer is yes, then we have a program for you!  We will meet every week online to discuss the chapters in a book whose main character is deaf and/or hard of hearing. Learners will engage with other DHH peers as we discuss the book, share ideas and perspectives, and have fun with literacy-based activities and games.

Learners in this program will have opportunities to:

  • Discuss a book featuring a DHH character or perspective.
  • Have conversations with peers who have similar experiences.
  • Learn new vocabulary and develop story comprehension skills.

Audience: Grades 3-6 (flexible)
Language: English with ASL interpretation
Program Length: 6 weeks
Facilitator: Sheri Stevens – Program Specialist

Our selected book is newly published in 2026!
