Inside Out: Exploring Your Inner World

Get ready to dive into an exploration of self-discovery! This virtual program will help learners understand their emotions, thoughts, and values. Through activities and discussions, participants will explore how these inner forces shape their behaviour in different situations. Connect with peers, learn new skills, and gain confidence in navigating their world!

Participants in this program will have opportunities to:

  • Demonstrate awareness of their interests, values, and strengths that contribute to a positive self-concept  
  • Recognize and label emotions and feelings  
  • Distinguish between a range of emotions  
  • Begin identifying and describing physical responses to emotions

Audience: All grade levels
Language: English with ASL translation available
Facilitators: Amanda Weaver, Education Support Teacher- Social Emotional Learning (EST-SEL)  
Program Length: 5 weeks

Schedule

Tuesdays or Thursdays
Time: To be determined based on learner groupings  

Tuesdays, October: 6, 13, 20, 27 & November 3
or Thursdays, October: 8, 15, 22, 29 & November 5

Registration

Online learning programs for children and youth are designed for students who qualify for APSEA services and registration must be completed by the student's APSEA Educational Support Teacher (EST) / itinerant teacher.
