Do you support a learner who is Deaf/hard of hearing (DHH)? Would your school staff benefit from a virtual presentation with an APSEA DHH Mentor at one of your upcoming PLs? Coffee Conversations is a flexible learning session designed for school teams. Each session blends a one-hour presentation with a 30-minute conversation to help you better support and understand learners that are DHH. Select a topic that fits your needs, and we will work together to determine a time that suits your schedule. The goal is to offer practical ideas, space for questions, and support that fits into existing learning and PL plans.
In this program, you will have opportunities to:
- Build your understanding of learner needs in educational settings.
- Learn strategies that strengthen access, communication, and inclusion.
- Ask questions in a supportive, low-pressure conversation space.
- Leave with concrete ideas you can use right away.
