Program Details

This session will focus on strategies and best practices for supporting learners who are blind and visually impaired as they transition to a new school environment. Participants will explore best practices for helping learners adjust socially, emotionally, and academically to a new school environment. Topics will include environmental orientation, peer relationships, self-advocacy, and access technology.
