Join us Friday afternoons for ASL storytelling of children’s picture books. Each time we meet, our fun and engaging storytellers will whisk the students away on a new storybook adventure.
Featuring a variety of APSEA staff who are Deaf signers (e.g., Educational Deaf Interpreters (EDIs), Deaf Mentors, ASL Specialists). ASL Storytime includes conversation, storytelling, a review of key vocabulary and phrases, and an opportunity to connect with others.
Students will have opportunities to:
- Meet Deaf staff in the APSEA organization
- Learn more about ASL – including regional dialects
- Build their receptive and expressive signing skills
Language: ASL, with English interpretation available

Day & Time: Fridays from 1 to 2 p.m. (AST) / 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. (NST)

Online learning programs for children and youth are designed for students who qualify for APSEA services and registration must be completed by the student's APSEA Educational Support Teacher (EST) / itinerant teacher.
