Come and join us at Rockwood Park in Saint John, NB. for a day of adventure, fun, and building connections! Engage with a variety of APSEA professionals and fellow families, as you explore the great outdoors through guided activities. This day is more than an outing; it’s an opportunity to make friends and celebrate the successes we have had this year!
Intended Participants: All learners who qualify for APSEA supports and services and their families (parents/caregivers and siblings)
Activities Await!
- Earth Cache Exploration
Park guides will lead us on a sensory journey, highlighting unique geological features of the park. - Art in the Park
Express your creativity through a nature-themed art activity. - Animal Encounters
Check out the animal display and rescue turtle at the interpretation centre.
Visit the duck pond and practice your bird calls as we feed the chickadees. - Lawn Games
Relax and try your hand at any one of the outdoor challenges. - Rock Climbing Wall
A guide will be on hand to support participants who want to “reach new heights”. - Connection Corner
An opportunity to meet, ask questions and learn from members of our amazing APSEA team.
Language: English/ASL Interpretration will be available
Financial Support: Financial support is available for travel to our events. Please identify this through the registration form and a member of our team will be in contact before the event.
Lunch: A pizza lunch will be provided on site and no cost to participants.
