Open to learners who are blind or visually impaired (Grades 3 and up) and siblings are welcome to participate!
Join us for summer fun… in a box! Hosted by APSEA BVI Mentors, Jennifer Fancy and Jennie Bovard, learners supported by APSEA, who are blind pr visually impaired, along with their families will get creative, prepare snacks, and more – all in the spirit of summer!
Delivered through Zoom, participants receive Summer in a Box supplies by mail before sessions begin. All supplies and resources needed to participate are included!
Siblings are welcome to participate, too! Please be sure to let us know on the registration form. We’ll send enough supplies for the learner served by APSEA and sibling/s, to join in the seasonal fun.
An adult must be present for children or youth requiring assistance to participate.
Schedule
Occurs Tuesdays, from 6 to 7 p.m. (AST) / 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (NL), for 4 weeks.
