Do you want to join a book club? If the answer is yes, then we have a program for you! We will meet every week online to discuss the chapters in a book whose main character is deaf and/or hard of hearing. Learners will engage with other DHH peers as we discuss the book, share ideas and perspectives, and have fun with literacy-based activities and games.
In this program, you will have opportunities to:
- Discuss a book featuring a DHH character or perspective.
- Have conversations with peers who have similar experiences.
- Learn new vocabulary and develop story comprehension skills.
Our selected book is out of this world!
