Painting Activities by APSEA Students

Flower pot paintings

“Flower Pot Activity” by Tyran C. (Grade 5)
This activity was a fun way to work on comprehension and use of descriptive vocabulary of colours, and circles. Tyran had to select the colours we were going to use in the activity and help make circles using his finger and thumb to create flowers. There was lots of giggling while painting each other’s hand! Tyran was great at selecting colours and helping decide what colour to use next.

Painting of Poppies

“Poppies to Remember the Fallen” by Peyton C. (Grade 6)
There is no doubt that Peyton is an artist! She’s artistic, creative and loves any activity where she gets to use her creative mind. Here Peyton had to create a Remembrance Day painting by following directions containing four to five critical elements at a time. Some great listening occurred here and the beautiful result shows!
