Gerry Nelson, President of Blind Golf Canada, will be hosted by APSEA PEI in June, 2024 for an introduction to the Junior Blind Golf Canada Program. He will be with his guide, Chris Villeneuve.

Learners who are blind or visually impaired from all Atlantic provinces (ages 9-18) are invited to visit Charlottetown, PEI. The golf clinic will be held on Monday, June 17 at Belvedere Golf Club.

Youth will learn how to hold a club, hit balls, and to putt through trial and error, with communication and teamwork with a guide. For this event, a family member will learn to be a guide for golf.

Travel to Charlottetown can occur on the weekend prior to Monday June 17. Our golf day will include skill development on a driving range and on a practice green, learning about golf equipment, measuring distance, and exploring golf course features. The afternoon will end with three holes of golf.

Registration closes May 3rd, 2024.
