Are you looking to expand your ASL skills in a relaxed and welcoming environment? Join us for ASL for Families! Using the American Sign Language at Home: A Family Curriculum as a reference, participants will learn how to incorporate language into their daily routines through the guidance of Deaf Mentors. Sessions in this series will include ASL vocabulary on a variety of topics from daily routines and family time together.

In this program you will have opportunities to:

  • Meet and learn from Educational Support Specialist - Deaf Mentors.
  • Learn amongst peers in a relaxed environment fostering connection and community.
  • Build signing skills relevant to daily routines and language

Program Details

  • Language: ASL with English interpretation
  • Dates/Times:
    • Group 1: Mondays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. (AST) / 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. (NST)
      March 17, 24, 31, April 7, 14 & 28
    • Group 2: Tuesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. (AST) / 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. (NST)
      March 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29
    • Group 3: Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. (AST) / 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. (NST)
