Lived Experiences: Conversations with the DHH Community

Come join us for an uplifting conversation with an adult who is Deaf/hard of hearing as they share their life story! This session introduces a new storyteller with unique experiences- celebrating successes, overcoming challenges, and sharing the supports that have helped them thrive. We invite learners and their families to join us for real examples of resilience, identity, and community!

In this program, you will have opportunities to:

  • Listen to a personal story from an adult who is Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
  • Learn strategies that support communication, confidence, and self-advocacy.
  • Explore how identity and community shape a person’s journey.
  • Ask questions and connect with a positive Deaf/Hard of Hearing role model.
