Join us in this year-long opportunity for all braille readers from across the Atlantic Provinces! Let’s come together and celebrate all things braille!
Based on our responsive teaching and learning model, we will be offering two groupings for Braille Club this year.
Schedule at a Glance:
- Novice Braille Club
Thursdays from 1 to 1:40 p.m. (AST) / 1:30 to 2:10 p.m. (NST) starting November 15 - Intermediate Braille Club
Wednesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. (AST) / 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. (NST) starting November 16
In both groups, participants will have the opportunity to meet and work with other students who know or are learning the braille code.
Our philosophy is to encourage braille literacy in an inclusive, collaborative, social, and flexible learning environment.
Both programs will run all year, and materials needed to participate will be provided to the students in advance.
