An interactive two-session introduction to BVI Identity and 5 steps of self-advocacy.
Self-advocacy is an essential skill in self-determination and a proven key factor for success in school and life.
BVI Mentors, Jennie & Jennifer, draw from extensive lived experience and trusted resources to discuss and demonstrate everyday self-advocacy.
Students will be invited to share and practice real-life scenarios, with a focus on understanding & communicating their needs.

- Talk to your APSEA Education Support Teacher to register.
- A Zoom link will be emailed following registration.
Online learning programs for children and youth are designed for students who qualify for APSEA services and registration must be completed by the student's APSEA Educational Support Teacher (EST) / itinerant teacher.
