Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. (AST) / 11 to 11:45 a.m. (NST)
Starting February 8, 2024

A year-long opportunity for learners who are blind or visually impaired in grades 2 to 5 to come together each week and share in a delightful read aloud. Included in the book selections will be stories that learners may see themselves in, with characters who are blind or visually impaired. Through the lens of social emotional learning, a guided lesson will support participants in learning to listen and listening to learn. Engaging stories, often with relatable characters, will open the door to discussions around self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making.

Registration is open all year, with participants joining as their schedule permits.
